Timing

I sent via USPS my husbands papers (Concurrent filing I-130, I-485 etc) last Saturday, the 26th of August. According to USPS they delivered the package on Monday, the 28th of August. I filled out and sent with the papers the G-1145, but I have not received a email or text message from them. I may be a little confused as to what this form is for. I thought they would notify me that they have received the applications, but maybe I'm wrong???

Can someone please help me understand this better?

Wait a few more days. It usually takes a few days to receive the email / SMS notification. But at least it's faster than receiving the mail receipt, which may take weeks.

Hello, I provided an email to USCIS as well. However it is entirely possible you get a confirmation via regular before an email. It does not make sense at all, but yes USCIS does that. As you progress, you will notice the NVC is on top of contacting you via email. If fact, I never got any correspondence via regular mail. I always got emails, including the interview letter. So hang in there. Be assured that if USPS shows they receive it .. then they did indeed receive it. Good luck
