Why do I need a new interview date?

I was in a car accident and lost my interview receipt in the process. My interview is on June 7 at 1:30. What do I do? I called and they told me that they can not mail me another one - they will have to change the interview dates. I live in DC and my interview is in Fairfax, VA. Can I arrive with out the interview receipt and explain to them what happen or I won't be let in? Please help!!!

I don't want to change the dates for the interview date. I am applying for N-400.

Unfortunately, you will have to get another date. They will not let you in without the interview notice.

I disagree.......although my case was a bit different.. I forgot my Interview Notice at home (I-485) but was seen. I would say go...what do you have to lose/ the worst that could happen is that they say, no, come back but what if they don't
