Required documents for I-485 filing

Hello,

I petition a green card through my wife, She is a permanent resident. On 9/12/2017 priority date for filing I-485 is current and I not sure what are the other documents that I need to submit to USCIS along with I-485 form. Do I need to submit Immigration Medical Exam too? I really appreciate if any one can provide me with the information.

You will need to submit:

1. I-485
2. Passport-style photos
3. Approval NOA for I-130 petition
4. I-864
5. 2016 Federal tax return, W2, proof of employment
6. I-765
7. $1,225 check
8. Immigration medical exam on form I-693 in sealed envelope
9. Photocopies of birth certs, divorce documents, marriage cert
10. Copies of petitioner's Green Card, your visa and pasport iD page

On 9/12/2017 priority date for filing I-485 is current

Note that something is current or not current for a whole month, not a particular day. If you mean that it will be current in October, make sure it is filed (received by USCIS) in October; if you are not current for September, and they receive it a little early, in September, it will be rejected.
