Travel inter-state while work authorization and ID is pending ... Please help !!!

I am USC and apply marriage based green card for my husband. Now, we have received receipt notice from USCIS for our I-130 petition package (including I-765 and I-131). His previous work authorization and driver's license has expired, and is waiting for the renewal work authorization so he can renew his DL as well. Recently, the family has to fly to Oregon for some family stuff, we wonder if he can fly with his original country passport, and also the receipt notices (for I-765, and I-130) to travel to another state within US.

Please help me
