hello, i'm sorry in advance for my english.

My petition was submitted by my parents and approved in 2016. The petition was approved with my cape-verdean papers and i became a french citizen in 2017.

Do i have to let the immigration know that i became a french citizen ? Does it will affect the process of visa availibity ?

Plus i want to come to USA for chritsmas, can i use my french passport or i have to show the cape-verdean one with a visa?

As far as Green card wait time: Does not matter. Both the countries are in the rest of the world category, so have identical wait times.
