Hello,
I got an RFE for not submitting Birth Certificate for my 485 petition. I need some guidance regarding the documents required to be submitted.
Before that, here is the situation i got my Birth Certificate:
- I lost my original birth certificate (don't even have a copy) and I finally got my certificate from the Government of home country but It took a bit more that hard work to get it as they seem to have lost my information while converting hard copies to electronic information. So, if looked up, A month ago, my information was not available online in my home country. But now it is available as the govt' conducted some investigation and got bunch of affidavits from town folks who are aware of my birth. It looks like they re-entered my information and my understanding is, due to this whole process I suppose my Birth Registration becomes "Delayed Registration of Birth"?Not sure about this......But, No where on my birth certificate it says or hints that it is "Delayed Registration". It actually says that "The information is pulled from original govt' records......" (doesn't specify original record dates). But the certificate is issued on Oct 16th. 2017. All the information on certificate is accurate and legit.
Question 1: Do I have to consider this as Delayed Registration of Birth?
Question 2: Do I have to submit Secondary evidence?
I have secondary evidence, Secondary School Certificate with my DOB and Father's name and got the copy notarized.
Question 3: Do I have to submit additional affidavits if i am submitting the New Birth certificate and Secondary evidence?
Question 4: The certificate has both English and Native Language (in brackets) on the same page. Only the seal is in Native language and not in English. In this case, do i have to have the translation done just because the seal is in native language?
Thank you for the response.
Regards
