I-130 "country of residence" ?

Folks - filing GC for my parents who are here with me in US.

Part 2, Question 29 asks for country of residence. Should it be USA now that they are with me here or home country?

It depends, if they plan to return home to await their consular officer, their home country address is the appropriate answer

If they plan to stay here and apply for adjustment of status, then their residence is here in the USA

Can I get more information on this. I heard that even if they are visitors here in the US, the country and city of residence should be their home town / country - since they are just visitors and NOT yet residence.

please help clarify
