Hello,
I sponsored for my parents for the US GC. NVC, rejected our birth certificates (mine, mom and dad).
They live in Paris (FRENCH CITIZEN) but they were born in India. So we have sent certificates that were given by the French government. (Translated in English).
Question1:
They were born in the 60’s, and their birth was not registered in India at that time.
-So what documents do I need to send them regarding their birth?
Question 2:
They have a letter from the Indian Embassy (Paris) stating their birth place, marriage place and my birth.
But, my name is written with a “ben” and my dad's name as a middle name. EX: xxxxxxBEN xxxxxxxx Parekh
My legal name on all my documents is YYYY XX Parekh (NO “ben" at the end or "middle name").
-So, is that an issue? and if not, will this letter be acceptable as a supporting document?
I am a bit confused and stressed. Please help.
I was wondering if this has happened to anyone?
