I had applied GC for my mom. I-130 , I-485 , I-864, I-693, I-765 , I-131 end of sep. Fingerprint had to be re-done second time.
approval notice for I131 came a couple of days back. The approval notice states that the travel document will be mailed separately. My mom is to travel on the 6th of Dec.
Can she travel without the travel doc? How long does it take to receive the travel document from the date of the approval notice? Any ideas ?
Please suggest. NewAcct any suggestion ? can she leave since the approval is here & then we can mail her the document when it comes? Is that OK?
Also another question - If the 485 approval comes while she is in travel, can we postpone the interview date? Is that OK - will that cause any issues with the application?
Can anyone please clarify - especially with the travel document situation and travel coming up soon?
