Green Card for Mom - 485 and travel in between

Had applied for my mother's i130, 485, advanced parole end of Sep. She got her AP approved. waiting on i130 and 485 approval.
Can she travel in between. She has to go for some family ceremony. What if the approval comes while she is in India? Any thoughts or suggestions?

Yes, she can travel if she's gotten AP. That's the whole point of AP. If AOS is approved while she is abroad, she can re-enter either on her AP (if it is unexpired) or her green card (if someone gets it and mails it to her).

- thanks NewAcct. Appreciate it. For the i130/485 approval doesn't she have to go for interview ? I thought there will be an interview notification prior to approval.

If she has here EAD approved, can we get her SSN? Or should we wait to get her SSN after the GC approval?

Sometimes there's an interview; sometimes there isn't.
