Advice for US Citizen moving to US with spouse
Advice, please!
I'm a US Citizen, currently living in Canada with my Japanese-passport spouse. (Spouse has permanent residence/"green-card" in Canada).
I have accepted a new job in the US and start two months from now. For obvious reasons, we would like to avoid maintaining residences in two different countries while the immigration process works its way through.
What is the fastest/most efficient way of getting my spouse into the country to live with me? I'm a little worried about crossing the border on a tourist visa when its pretty obvious that we're planning to move there.
