Is the principal immigrant counted into the household size of the joint sponsor?

do I count my husband(the principal immigrant) into the household size of the joint sponsor? The joint sponsor has a wife and three kids, and will be sponsoring my husband, does that mean the household size will be 5 or 6?

Yes, the sponsored immigrant(s) are counted. So it would be 6. See how the household size is calculated on the form.
