Hi guys, according to March 2018 Visa Bulletin, filing dates for F2A category is May 2017. My priority date is December 19, 2016. I am currently in New York as an F1 student. My understanding is that I will be sending my adjustment of status application (I-485, I-765 etc) on or after March 1, 2018. My only question is is there a certain date or day that I should wait for within March 2018 to send my documents on or as soon as March 2018 begins, I should send in my AOS package right away to get started? Appreciate any help or guidance in advance.

Hi ,
Thank you for your contributions. My mom filed for my brother who is not in USA and he is unmarried and under 21 while she was LPR. I guess he is F2b. PD date is Dec 2011. She is now citizen. What do you advise me.
In addition to the above, in he monthly visa bulletin, there are two charts for family sponsored visa category which I could not understand. What is the difference between these two charts - Chart A. FINAL ACTION DATES FOR FAMILY-SPONSORED PREFERENCE CASES and Chart B. DATES FOR FILING FAMILY-SPONSORED VISA APPLICATIONS.
According to March 2018 bulletin, the PD dates for F1 in both charts is for 22 March 2011 and 1 Jan 2012 respectively. For F2B category, table A and B show 1March 2011 and 1st Sept 2011 respectively.
Can she inform NVC that she is now a citizen and request for change to F1? Can she use the Jan 2012 date to send payment and documents for visa process to NVC?
TIA.

I am a PR, my wife filed her I-130 on 01/26/17 and this is still pending.
According to the Filing Chart on the USCIS website for March 2018 her priority date is earlier than May 2017 in F2A category.
Can we file I-485 even though her I-130 is still pending based on the fact that we are current under the filing chart?

Hi Moaz,
Did you sent out the AOS package with or without the i130 approval notice? I am in the same boat as you. My priority date is April 3, 2017 and March bulletin states May 1, so I was thinking about sending out the AOS package.
