I?m a self-employed ESL teacher. I work primarily online at an hourly rate. I saw that I should include 6 months of pay stubs to prove my income, but I just started doing this job, freelance teaching, 6 months ago, and it has taken me most of that time to build a steady client base. I make enough now for the income requirements, but I don?t have 6 months of income at this same level to prove it. Will this slow build up of income hurt my affidavit of support? It?s not steady hours and can fluctuate quite a lot depending on student availability. Should I have a joint sponsor just to be safe?
