  • Illegible Part on BC Translation

There are two very small parts of my spouses birth certificate that the translator put down as "illegible" (it's hardly readable on the original to begin with). The illegible parts are not even on the birth certificate, but on the receipt saying that he ordered to get a certified copy and paid for it (like the bank statement). Will the USCIS reject the translation because of something like that?? His name, birthdate, birth place, parents names and all certifications are completely readable, just the two little sections of the bank sheet. Help!!

It is not unusual to have parts that are illegible on a birth certificate. As long as his biographical information is legible you really shouldn?t have a problem!

    Best of luck!
