Green Card holder marrying spouse having H1B visa!!

Hello,
I am a green card holder who recently (March 2018) got married. My spouse has H-1B visa which is due for renewal on August 2018.

My worry is, Should I file for PR under F2A visa right away or wait for the renewal of H-1B visa?

Also, Will filing for PR (under F2A) in any way adversely affect the H-1B visa renewal process?

Note: It takes 1 to 2 years for F2A visa application to process and can my spouse stay in US with no H-1B visa and under process F2A visa application?
