  • Processing time 2018 Atlanta GA

    Hey everyone,

    I applied for Greencard through marriage (I130, I485, I765, I131).

Just wanted to share my timeline and hopefully have some 2018 applicants to share info here!

    I applied in Atlanta-GA

    *PD: 02/02/2018
    *Biometrics appointment: 03/06/2018

(Got an RFE notice because I didn?t send my I693 with the package but the letter didn?t require me to do anything now, just to wait and if they need this before my interview they?ll send a new letter requiring it and if they don?t I just have to take it to the interview.)

Haven?t heard anything since then and the website didn?t upgrade anything since my cases were received.

    Please share your info too!
    Thx

Oh good to know! I thought that was an RFE!
Hopefully we receive our EAD soon!!
Are you gonna wait for them to ask you for the I 693 so you can start doing the exams or you’re gonna do it soon?

And have you ever checked the processing time for an I 485 in Atlanta?

It shows that a Family-based adjustment application is taking from 11 to 29 months and that the last case they processed was NOV 23rd 2015 !!!

Do you think that?s accurate? This estimate is way longer than I imagined and way longer than what everybody says.

We live in Atlanta also and I?m petitioning for my husband through family based as well. Our timeline:

            Mailed 12/19/17
            Case accepted per website 12/21/17
            Text notification from USCIS-case accepted
2nd week of January 2018, received 797 with biometrics scheduled for 01/26/18
            Biometrics done on 01/26/18

We have not received any RFE thus far, so I?m assuming no additional info needed.

My husband called and opened a case since 03/12/18 and it still has yet to be assigned for processing. We called and the Rep said we could open a case since it?s been more than 75 days and he has still not received his EAD.

We know the GC will take some time, but we are desperate for his EAD so he can work and drive.

If anyone has any info, I would appreciate it.

I saw on their website that if your i765 is at NBC they?re currently working on nov 23rd 2017 cases. Idk how accurate that is but it can give us an idea. I think it?s taking a little longer than normal this year. That?s what my lawyer said.

Thank you for your response. I believe ours is being processed at the MSC bc those are the first few letters of our receipt number? I?ll have to check those logs and see what dates they?re at.
I also just wanted to add, we submitted the whole packet :

                I:130
                I:130A
                695 medical
                765 EAD
                485 AOS
                864 affidavit of support.

We don?t want the AP, so we skipped that one intentionally.
