In my case I-485 interview happened before I -130 is approved and I am still waiting on my I-130 approval since the interview completed (02-2017) Priority date 2015.
Interview officer asked me I-130 approval letter and I was not sure what she is asking but my we didnt receive any such letter from uscis.
After that officer put the 1-485 case to held after asking couple of questions.
We try to clarify for our understanding is Interview completed or we have to come again but the officer response was your interview is done but I can't put as complete untill your I-130 is apporved.
Interview results say your case is been held for review and after that every call or appointment leads to only one answer Background check is happening for I-130.
