  • Need help with fiance visa or wife visa

    Hi,
I am a US citizen. I was married to someone for 14 years on the paper. The reason I said on the paper cause out of that 14 years we have been seperated for 9 years and got a religious divorce from the mosque, as a businessman it was cheaper on the taxes so I never did get the legal divorce finaliged. I devoted my life for the kids and never had any plan to get married. So honestly I didn't care.
Now recently I met someone and decided I should end my lonely life. I went ahead and got a divorce just about a month ago. I mentioned my situation to the judge and got the divorce finalized in a week. As in my state you can do that if you have a valid reason. I also got married over the phone to the lovely lady the same week as there was no binding from the law to do so.
Now while I was filling up the due form I noticed it says I can't file as we both were not present at the wedding.
My question are... should I just file for a fiance visa?
Can I go home and redo my marriage vow and apply from there? Can you mail the form while you are in a diff country?
I feel I suffered enough and need to go on with my life. I have a business and also have kids who needs me. I really can't go spend months while the paper work gets processed. What's the easiest way to bring my wife down here?
    Thanks in advance.

your post is not entirely clear and a bit difficult to read........

You can apply for a fiance Visa for her with you here and she there. That takes around a year or so.If its approved she could come and would have to marry you within 90 days and then you could file for her as your wife.

A quicker process would be To bring her as your wife. You'll have to travel there , marry her and then return to the US and file. You dont have to stay there (wherever "there" is) and wait ofr the papers to be processed. They would be processed here so You do all the filing here and once its approved, sh ewill be notified and then attend an interview at the US Embassy there to get her immigrant Visa so that she can join you.
