Hello - I am planning to apply GC for my mother and need to know which option should I choose:
Option1: Applying I-130 concurrently with I-485 (adjustment status), I-693 (medical)& I-864P-
Asking this I've heard the below statement from USCIS
"When United States grants a foreign alien a tourist visa or some other non-immigrant visa, it does so with the understanding that the visitor intends to return to the place of origin. However, if a foreign alien uses a non-immigrant visa as a way of gaining U.S. entry with the actual goal of adjusting status to permanent resident, the U.S. government considers this visa fraud. In this circumstance, the government may deny a green card based on the misuse of the non-immigrant visa."
Please clarify.
Option 2: Apply only I-130 along with my naturalization & birth certificate. Once it is approved, then apply for adjustment status?
Which one is the best option?
Thanks in advance for the response
