My wife (who's brazilian) and I live in Brazil. Trying to get back to the states.
We already filed i-130 and apparently the wait time is pretty long (that's life I guess).
A friend of mine advised me to complete the adjustment of status paperwork and file that too to speed up the process, but he thought it could be different because we are outside of the USA and because we already filed the i-130. My wife already has an american tourist visa.
Is it too late to file the AOS?
Can we file the AOS from outside of brazil?
Can we do anything while we wait for the i130 that would make the process easier down the road?
Somewhat unrelated question:
Since my wife already has the tourist visa, would it be possible for us to visit the USA in the mean time? Would they let her in? Would it be a horrible idea?
