MKE CHI Delayed processing

Hi my PD is nov2017 and haven't scheduled for interview yet(still in ready for scheduling), my attorney says there was shift in scheduling interviews in Mi.Lwaukee/ Chicago and some how people who have filed in feb2018 and later have their interviews being scheduled but not for ppl who filed AUG2017-Jan18, mysteriously USCIS has skipped the applications in this period. He advised me to wait till OCTOBER and see how it goes, Does any one have ideas about this ? or similar experiences ??
