Sponsoring Parent for Green Card - Apply in US or India
Hi,
I am trying to sponsor my 80+ year old father for a green card. He already has a multi-year multi-entry visitor visa to the US. I am trying to decide if he should apply after coming to the U.S., then do Adjustment of Status if it takes longer than 6 mos., or if he should apply while in India, and then come here on a Green Card. So,
Question 1 - How different is the process when applying from India or the U.S.
Question 2 - Which one is quicker
Question 3 - If he applies in India, then can he come to the U.S. while his application is processing.
