    Hello,
I am planning to apply GC for my dad(64 yo) when he visits me in the US this October. While studying the process, it seems like he will need the I-693 medical test done here in the USA.

    Vaccination
According to my dad, he has all his vaccines but he doesn't have any records of it. Shall I ask him to get re-vaccinated again in India? Just worried if getting vaccinated again (here or in India) will cause any side effects.

    TB test
Will the doctors in the US accept TB test done in India?

    Syphilis and Gonorrhea test
Get it done here or in India?

    TIA
    NG

No, you never re-vaccinate for the hell of it. You do blood titers. Basically, you test for levels of immunity. Read the I-693 instructions. It's all there.

Adjustment of status is a long process. Are you sure that it wouldn't be better for your dad to wait for his green card in India?

Thanks for your response. Yes, doing titers. Family conditions in India is not such where I can leave my dad on his own.
