I filed I130/I485 concurrently in July 29, 2017. Received NOA1 in Aug 21, 2017 and NOA2 on Apr 21, 2018. THe NOA2 (I130 approval) asked us to have the I485 filed for AOS along with a copy of the NOA2. Since the 485 was previously filed (along with travel and employment forms) with the original I130, our lawyer suggested that no further action was needed (i.e. "USCIS already had the concurrent filing"). Since April, there has been no update. Lawyer is suggesting to simply wait and that no need to pursue with USCIS or resend the copy of the original I485.
Any suggestions ? Mom needs to travel for health reasons.
