1 year and 5 months and no update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had applied for my case in April 2017 and for now its a year and 5 months and nothing showed up!
do anyone know the waiting time to get the approval from USCIS and start the next step???
its really confusing after all this time with no update

need more information, category of filing, timeline of filing, and any updates notifications etc. on what basis you are filing through, EG.. marriage to USC, H1b to PR, etc. can't answer your questions due to it being to non specific.

I had applied in April 2017, PD April 14,2017 under F2A category. I had heard nothing except that my case was received.
also my husband was a PR and now he is a citizen. what should we do at this point and should the process be faster now?

the F2a category can take a minimum two years if not longer to hear anything. since your husband is a citizen now you would want to have your application switched to the Immediate relative category.
