Hi guys,
I'm in the process of filling out all the forms. I have a few questions about filling out the I-864 form. So I just started working back in July (on my OPT) and my husband (USC) is still in school. I make way more than 125% poverty line. And we are thinking about using my income on my husband's I-864. However, because i had just started working recently, i dont have a tax return for the past year. Would my pay stubs for the last few months and a letter from HR suffice as proof of ongoing income? Or should we also ask my husband's dad to fill out an I-864 as a joint sponsor just in case?
Thank you so much.
