I received an e-mail approximately July 10th that the National Visa Center (NVC) had received all of the fees, forms, and documents that are required prior to attending an immigrant visa interview at a U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in Mumbai, India. NVC scheduled an interview appointment for my Father on July 30, 2018. Unfortunately he was here in US visiting Grandchildren and we called US consulate who advised that he could miss the appointment and then apply under category 3 for rescheduling the consular appointment. I tried scheduling the Interviews through the ustraveldocs.com website and am getting nowhere. It continues to say there are no appointments available. When you call the support desk, they state to continue trying as the visa appointments are first come first serve basis.
