I am a USC, and my wife is Burmese. I submitted in i-130 for my stepson and it was approved after 172 calendar days. We have not yet received the i-797, but expect it shortly.
My wife arrived two months ago. We are getting our home ready. When I completed the Affidavit of support for my wife (last February) I simply printed everything and mailed it. Is that still the case? Just fill out the forms on the PC, print them, and mail them along with the supporting documents (paystubs, tax returns, etc)?
He will not fly until the school year ends (next Spring), so there is no real hurry. Education is the most important thing. He is an "A" student and will continue to be. I promised his grandmother.
