Hi everyone,
I explain my situation. My wife was born in New York from italian parents. So she has double citizenship. She has lived in USA until she was 8 years old. Then she came in Italy where she live now. We are married since 1988 and we don't have sons. We have a little house in communion of goods. My wife don't have ever work in Italy and she is an housewife.
Now we would want to move to USA. My wife has fill a form I-130 for alien relative. The petition has been accepted and we are now awaiting medical examinations and the interview at the consulate of Naples.
But in Form I-864 they ask us proof our livelihood in USA. I work in Italy now and we have all our assets in Italy. How can we prove that we will not become a burden for social assistance? We will not move from Italy if we don't find a job in US before, that's is sure, but can useful our declaration?
What will happen with the visa? Tips?
I have schedulate the interview on 10th of october. So I have non much time.
Thanks to all.
Ciao from Italy
Nicol
