Waiting for a green card interview

I have applied for a greencard on 10/23/2017 and still haven't heard anything about my interview. Is this long wait normal?

That's long time to wait for GC

I have not entered US yet oh … and not got my Visa yet even though they got everything they needed. Just being awkward to me with the interview and tricky unnecessary questions that doesn't make senses. Anyways my question is I thought the waiting time is only 6 weeks to get your GC once you entered US? If not can you travel back and forth while you wait for your GC. Can you also move to US but not 100% for 3-4month every year until you get citizenship ?

Is it common to wait for more than 30 days after your case for AOS is approved? I feel like something is not very clear. My status is also not updated but I have the paper notifiction for approval. Is it common and what should I do to solve this problem? Is there anyone having same situation or went through that?

to be clear, if marriage based green card. They say 2 years but I just received my GC after exactly 4 years and 4 days! Dont expect a quick process and the times are increasing and the rules are getting tighter. Dont even consider being out of status because a couple of years later when you are deep in the gc process, you will be denied if illegal

Did you receive your GC after 4 years of the priority date?? or after you started the process.
Im in Brazil, my wife is a GC hold and live in US, my visa class is F21, priority date 06-jul-16, i already received an email from NVC in 04-sep-18 and they are working with the Embasy in Rio de Janeiro to schedule my interview, Im 5 mounts waiting for the date to interview, how long did you get your interview after you received this email from NVC saying all documents are accepted?
