  • Removal Of Conditions on Green Card

    Greetings Everyone

I am starting to put the documents together for removing conditions on my Wife's conditional green card. I had some questions and would appreciate your assistance.

Q1. All the documents have to reach to USCIS 90 days before the conditional green card expires. My wife's green card expires in 6/3/19. This mean all the documents have to reach to USCIS by March 5, 2019. Correct?

Q2. When it comes to documents, the ones listed below are what i plan to use.

    1. Tax Returns for 2017, 2018

    2. Health Insurance

    3. Joint Bank Account

    4. Internet fee

    5. Electrical Utility fee

    6. Cell Phone Fee.

    7. Copy of Joint loan papers for our car.

    8. Pics/ticket copies of out trip outside USA.

    9. Pics from local trips/gatherings here in USA.

Will these documents will be sufficient or do i require more?

Also when i submit copies(e.g cell phone fee), how many copies do i need? Also should i include the copy for latest month or for earlier months?

    Thank You

No. They have to be filed within the 90-day period that ends when the 2-year card expires. So it must reach USCIS some time between 3/5/2019 and 6/3/2019. If it reaches USCIS before 3/5/2019, they will reject it. To be safe, send it after 3/5/2019.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.

Some Ideas that you might find helpful :

      - Lease agreement or mortgage ( this is very important to prove joint tenancy )

      optional:
      - Auto Insurance
      - 2 affidavits signed by friend or family

Thanks for the reply. I live in an apartment and i have been owning it before our marriage. how do i show lease agreement or mortgage when it does not apply in my case.
