  • Student Financial Aid - does it influence application?

    Hey guys,

I have a question regarding how the FAFSA (Federal Student Aid) could influence our application.

My wife applied for a 130 for me. We used a joint sponsor.. Do you guys believe that her applying for the student financial aid could have negative repercussions on our application?

    Thanks!

No, Financial Aid is not a public charge like food stamps and other Goverment benefits.

Nope! I was in grad school & had FAFSA when I applied for my spouse. The only issue would potentially be the income requirement, but you used a cosponsor so that is not an issue for you.
