NVC Processing times

Hi everyone,

I just sent our civil and financial documents to NVC. Does anyone have an idea of how long it's taking these days for them to process documents? Also, has anyone done their interview at the US embassy in Dakar? Do you have an idea of how long it takes to schedule an interview?

The USCIS notified me that they sent my step son's info to the NVC on Oct 15. The NVC notified us that they received the case on Nov 28. I have no idea why it took 6 weeks.

Processing the papers took exactly one month, to the day.

On Jan 28, they notified us, that he had an appointment on Feb 11. That was very short notice.

They asked that he bring photos of the two of us. We are flying to Thailand to get photos this weekend.
