Joint Sponsor eligibility

Howdy.

My wife had an injury at work last year so she's unable to meet the sponsorship line. She's in her mother's house right now as that's where we'll be living when I get there.

Now, can her mother be used as a joint-sponsor? She more than meets the 125% poverty line. I was just wondering if she'd be ineligible to help for some reason.

Anyone can be a joint sponsor....if they meet the income guidelines...........be careful though that you dont determine the income base don their income alone without considering their household size...........
