Hi. I would like to know if anyone in this forum had this kind of situation before.
I m spounsored by a small company. I m on my first 3 years H1B. The DOL has denied my request to apply for a visa (and the subsequent petition for residence thru the BCIS) altough the company is appealing, but we know it can take for ever and at the end get the definitive denial.
I have a female friend who has been divorced for 20 years and is handicapped (she is receiving social security because of that) who offered me to marry her and after the process is concluded she would file for a divorce.
Anyone knows if after getting the divorce she would be allowed to reapply for the benefits? That s her and my concern.
I really appreciate any help and or advise
