Family Based GC, What need to be done after arrival?

My friend is in India. Her husband got green card sponsor ship through his parent. Both cleared the interview and got appropriate documents and visa to come USA.

I believe now both can come here based on their visa and they will get their physical green card in mail after their arrival. Then we need to help them for social security card.

Question is can both able to come on different address (different USA state) other then their parents location. Can she able to come early with her documents and then her husband will join?

Thanks for reply. Few more questions.

She got immigration visa (GC) from her husband’s sponsorship (from parent of her husband). Is it ok she can come 1st and then her husband joins?
What type of documents she should carry other then envelops, marriage certificate (fyi: married more then 2 years)?.

If her husband is the primary applicant, he should arrive first.

Each immigrant visa applicant needs to carry the immigrant visa envelope given to them at the time of interview.
