I am a natural born US citizen. My I-130 has been approved. I recieved a packet with the Immigration visa form and the affidavit of support. I am just sooooooooooo confused now. Please help me. I have a few questions that I need straigtened out.
I recieved the package for the immigration visa and the affidavit of support. To my understanding my husband abroad must fill this form out and sign it himself. I can not sign for him. I am just going to have him fill out everything and mail it to the NVC himself. Is that ok? Also.....It states in the packet that :
You have been registered with the National Visa Center (NVC) to apply for a visa to immigrate to the United Sates. You must now obtain the documents required for your application for an immigrant visa and send them to NVC.
Birth certificates, marriage certificates, military records, police certificates, and so on.....
Does this mean he must send his photocopies of these documents along with the immigration visa form?
Also I am employed at a medical office working for 9 dollars an hour. Do i need a letter from my employer, or will my check stubs do?
One last question, the application I have for the Affidavit of support is slightly different from the one online. http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/formsf...orms/i-864.htm (thats the one online) I heard there was some kind of change on July 21, 2006 about this form but I dont know what it is....The one I have has an expiration date of 9/30/06. What do you recommend I do?
I know its a lot.... Thank you so very much for your time and generosity.
