INDIA BMB NUMBER and EAC number fro

Info: I am a US citizen, I filed I130 for my brother and sister in 07/2004.
Problem: my brother's Friend filed for his brother and sister in 2005 and in march 2006 he got "BMB.." numbers with processing date.
my brother they haven't got any BMB numbers but I have there "EAC" receipt number.
question: Do I suppose to get BMB numbers by now or they will send it to them when they move files to Bombay?
why his friend's family received BMB number and I am not?
I will appreciate your answers.

All applications do not go at the same pace. Once you send it, there are humans on the other end. Some work faster than others, some are more thorough than others and some have more work than others, some take more sick days than others..more psersonal days than others, waste tim emore than others.......whatever. Also the Sevice Center at which you file affect the speed at which it is processed.

The receipt lists the processing times.............if its still within that time, there is nothing you can do but wait.
