Family Based Immigration Question

I am a US citizen and am in the process of applying for a green card for my mom. My mom has a 10 yr B2 visa and is currently in the US, so my question is related to her stay / visit to the US while the I130 is pending.

Does the application for I130 violate the non immigrant status of her B2 status and will this case be rejected or denied because of this ?
