  • Can I travel (fly) Hawaii or places within US?

I've married since June, 2006 and I've just received the receipts(I-130, I485, I 765) Aug 14, 2006. In the mean time, I know that I cannot travel overseas except having advance parole for emergency. However, the question is if not overseas, can i fly to other places..e.g. Hawaii?

Will the staff in the airport check my record? My I-94 form is expired.

FYI, Hawaii is part of the U.S. If you are travelling to Hawaii from mainland USA, it's like going to another State. You will not be entering the international airport or need a passport to travel to Hawaii. You cannot go outside of the U.S. at all until you get your GC. This also mean you cannot go to Canada.

You need not have an emergency to receive advance parole. You can apply for it even without an emergency

        Hello,

There is no harm in going to Hawaii, as it is a part of US. Just do not move out of the US without obtaining the Advance Parole, otherwise it will abandon your AOS application.
