Petition for parents by a permanent resident

Hi Forum,

I acquired permanent residency through marriage to a citizen. My conditional status is removed and I am a full permanent resident. Can I now file a petition for alient relative for my parents? Or can I only do it after I become a citizen? Any guidance appreciated.

Only after you become a citizen. Since you have already
completed 2 years after marriage, you should be able to apply for citizenship in another year.Once you become a citizen, you can file for your parent's visa, which will take roughly another year(sometimes less) to process.
