I am delighted to see how immihelp helps people . I love to read the forums.
its awsome. so, I decided to post my problem here at immihelp.

I am a US citizen. i already filed a petition for my dad(I-130). Now I have a younger brother who is only 17 . If my dad comes here,my brother will be all by himself there. As he is under 21 ,can he come along with my dad? or do I have to apply for my brother now? or My dad will have to apply for him when he gets his green card?.

If anybody has the answer ,Please lemme know . It will be highly apppriciated.

No, the petition you filed for your dad cannot include any of his children.
Your dad can file for your brother after he enters US on his immigrant visa under F2b category(unmarried sons and daughters of US permanent residents) but the wait for this class is about 10 years for India.

OR You can file for him under F4 (brothers and sisters of adult US citizens)
but again the wait is more than 10 years for India.

I think the best thing would be for him to come to US on a student visa.
Then one of you two can file the petition for him ( If you file the petition
BEFORE he gets his student visa, he may have trouble getting the student visa). He can spend the 10 yr wait in US on student and H-1 visas.

If hes unmarried ( your father) then you could refile under F1 and then his son could accompany him...........the wait is longer ( and that not long realy depending on which country you're from) but shorter than him coming then filing for your brother
