How Will You Know Which Center Your I-130 Is At? -
How how long it takes to process I-130? Does a Senators' letter help?
I submitted my I-130 on August, 2006. I received a notice from VSC which reads:
Your I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was received on August 10, 2006. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates.
My question is how long it takes to process a I-130 case? Does a letter from US Senator to the Immigration office help?

Ours Has Been In Since January 2003, We Have Been Told It Could Take Between 5 To 7 More Years. I Have Also Talked To State Senator....no Help. I Guess I Havent Found The Right One To Talk To. Surely There Is Someone That Can Speed Things Up! If You Get Any Leads Please Let Me Know!Comment
