ques about postponing green card interview

I just got my notice for my green card interview for October 30th. I complete my 2 years of marriage on Nov 26th. So if I go on this date the officer would only give me a temporary green card and then I would have to apply to remove the condition.

If I ask for another date for the interview how long does it usually take before I would get one? Does anyone know a waiting time on that?

Also if anyone knows the procedure to remove the condition of a temporary green card it would really help.

You could ask for a new date............but you will need a good reason, not just that you need a new date.
Removing the conditions is just filing form I-751 and attaching evidence that the marriage is a valid one.
