Im a US citizen just got married this month. My wife is already 10 yrs out of status. We've been together for 4 yrs, and we have 2 yrs old son. If I file for her will the immigration order her to go back to her country first to wait for the greencard?
We also don't know how to fill up form I-485 part 3 'Place of last entry' and status of last entry. She entered with tourist visa at Los Angeles, CA and change her status to F1 in Washington DC. She received I 94 stated : valid for duration of status (without any date).
On the form I-130 section C no. 14 for arrival and departure record and Date Authorized stay expired or will expire -
which one should we fill-in, since she received the new I-94 (actually the number and everything at the form is the same with the first I-94 only stated that her status is F1, but as I said above without date stamped).
And finally, where should we send all the files (we live in MD, not Baltimore Jurisdiction) to USCIS Vermont Service Center or to USCIS Chicago Illinois?
All answers and comments are greatly appreciated. Thank you.
