I heard from a friend recently that he submitted a lot of additional information with his applications for family based (spouse) permanent residency. He sent the following information:
Evidence of Joint Bank Accounts
Evidence of Joint Credit Cards
Evidence of both names on the lease
Evidence to show they own a car together
Evidence that they are the benificiries of each others life insurance
they are on the same health insurance etc.
He said that he didn't go for an interview and that he got a 10 year Green Card.
I have already submitted the usual (I-485, I-131, I-765 etc. etc.). I did not submit any of these additional pieces of evidence to show that our marriage is legitimate. Would it be worth my while mailing this kind of stuff in? If I was to submit more information where would I send it and what else should I include? (My original submission was sent to Chicago office)
Thanks for your help!
