hi all,
a friend of mine has his permanant visa application applied by his father(in US) approved, he is now being confronted with a particular problem.
The problem is, he spells his name as JEFFERY, both in his passport and on his school's ID card (he studies and lives in Africa). However he recently discovered that, his father spelt his name as JEFFREY when was applying for the petition (which has been approved)he also found out that it is also spelt as such (JEFFREY) on his birth certificate.now he has sent a photo copy of his passport bearing the name JEFFERY and a copy of his birth certificate bearing the name JEFFREY to the officials processing his documents for the immigrant interview schedule.he is now waiting for his immigrant visa interview to be scheduled, however he is scared this diifference in name would affect the processing of his documents. What should he do now? PLEASE HELP.
