Is B1 valid when petition files for spouse

Hi i am holding a 10 yr M visa B1/B2 and my wife will be applying for me for a green card as she is a US citizen i just wanted to know will my B1/B2 visa will be valid for furture visit to the states till the time my petition is procossed?

No, nothing will happen to the visa. It will stay valid but you CAN have problems at entry . Many people pass through without
being detected for an immigrant petition but there is always a chance that
one can be stopped and sent back.
