Need help with I-864

Hi there everyone...
I need help with filing form I-864.
I am filing for my wife who is out of status. We also have 1 child who is born here. In the form I-864 Part 5 (Sponsor Household Size) i put number 1 in "Person you are sponsoring in this affidavit" correct?
and what should I put in "Person not sponsored in this affidavit" section b?
If I put 1 (because I am currently married to her) the size of the household will be 4....is that the correct one?
or I should not put any number on section b, then the size of household will be 3 after adding altogether.
Any advice and explanation will be appreciated....

thanks for you help..I just want to clarify again...does this mean I dont count myself in the summarize amount? And I still put 1 in the my wife in the part 21 box c correct?

I found that section confusing too. The intending immigrant is supposed to be included, but in the "persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit" section, you are supposed to include your spouse. What if your spouse is the person being sponsored? It's like the spouse has to be counted twice even though it is stated on the form "do not count anyone twice" So in this case, would you leave the "c" block unchecked?

I found Part 3 a little confusing too, at least compared to the verbiage in the instructions.

Hi Indigo and Rene,

I'm not the expert,

But in my analysis,

If I were you, I would not enter anything in 21 C.
That would all tally to 3.
I would enter only 21A, B and D.

Beside the 21 A box, put a comment like "SPOUSE"
Beside letter C, put a comment saying something like ("already counted in item 21 A - will be double entry if counted here"
